Former Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) senior adviser and former Bikita West legislator Dr Munyaradzi Kereke has died.
Kereke died early Tuesday morning at The Avenues Clinic in Harare, his family has confirmed.
In a brief statement, the family said further details surrounding his death would be released in due course.
“It is with sadness that we announce the passing on of Dr Munyaradzi Kereke this morning at The Avenues Clinic. Funeral arrangements will be announced in due course,” the family said.
Kereke served as a senior strategic adviser to former RBZ Governor Dr Gideon Gono before entering politics.
He was elected Bikita West legislator in 2013.
Kereke is survived by 13 wives and 42 children.
Further details on his death and funeral arrangements are expected from the family.
