Zimbabwe Crowned Best International Exhibitor at Zambia Agricultural and Commercial Show

LUSAKA, Zambia – Zimbabwe has been honoured with the Best International Exhibitor Award at the ongoing Zambia Agricultural and Commercial Show, highlighting the country's growing reputation as a competitive regional trade and investment partner.

The prestigious award was presented during the exhibition in Lusaka, with Zambian officials commending Zimbabwe's outstanding exhibition and describing the recognition as a reflection of strengthening regional cooperation and economic integration.

The annual Zambia Agricultural and Commercial Show attracts exhibitors from across Africa and beyond, providing a platform for countries and businesses to showcase innovation, products and investment opportunities. This year's exhibition features a strong Zimbabwean presence alongside participants from several regional and international markets. The event is scheduled to conclude on Monday.

Zimbabwe's exhibition showcases a broad range of locally produced goods and services, including clothing and textiles, agricultural products, food processing, construction materials, retail products and manufacturing innovations.

The participation forms part of Zimbabwe's broader strategy to expand its export markets, attract investment and strengthen its commercial ties within the Southern African region. Government officials have also emphasised efforts to rebuild the country's international image by promoting quality local products and creating stronger trade partnerships.

The award comes at a time when trade between Zimbabwe and Zambia continues to grow. Zimbabwean exports to Zambia have reportedly increased by more than 30 percent, driven by rising demand for locally manufactured goods.

Business leaders believe the latest recognition will enhance Zimbabwe's visibility at regional trade exhibitions while opening new opportunities for exporters, manufacturers and investors seeking to expand across Southern Africa.

The achievement reinforces Zimbabwe's commitment to promoting local industry, boosting regional trade and contributing to deeper economic integration within the region.
