It was a picture-perfect moment in Dubai as Uebert Angel Junior (UJ), the eldest son of renowned Zimbabwean preacher Prophet Uebert Angel, got down on one knee to propose to his longtime partner, Mikkela Fernando, in a lavish ceremony overlooking the city's iconic skyline.

The romantic proposal, attended by close family and friends, featured elegant floral displays, breathtaking views and an intimate setting that marked the beginning of the couple's journey toward marriage.

Sharing the exciting news on social media, UJ accompanied photos from the proposal with a verse from the Book of Proverbs:

"He who finds a wife finds a good thing..."

The announcement quickly drew thousands of congratulatory messages from friends, church members and well-wishers around the world.

The engagement also brings together two influential families within the global Pentecostal community.

Mikkela is the eldest daughter of Prophet Jerome Fernando and Pastor Melanie Fernando. Celebrating the milestone, Prophet Jerome Fernando shared his joy on social media, writing:

Prophet Uebert Angel, founder of Spirit Embassy – GoodNews Church, is one of Zimbabwe's most prominent religious leaders, with ministries established in several countries. Meanwhile, Prophet Jerome Fernando leads an international ministry based in Sri Lanka and is well known for preaching at global Christian conferences.
