| A Zimbabwean family is mourning the heartbreaking loss of a husband and wife who were reportedly killed in the same road traffic accident.
The deceased have been identified as Baba Moses Chikasha and Amai Chiedza Chikasha, whose deaths were announced in a condolence message published by funeral services provider Nyaradzo Group.Zimbabwe travel guide

In its message, Nyaradzo said it was joining the Chikasha family in mourning the passing of the couple.

“We join the Chikasha family in mourning the passing on of Baba Moses and Amai Chiedza Chikasha. Our heartfelt condolences go to the Chikasha family, relatives, and friends during this difficult time,” the company said.

The funeral services provider described the couple as “two beloved family pillars, beloved parents and beloved grandparents,” adding that their loss would be deeply felt by relatives and friends.

Although the condolence notice did not state how the couple died, numerous comments posted beneath the announcement by members of the public said they were both killed in the same road traffic accident. At the time of publication, no official details about the location, circumstances or cause of the crash had been released by authorities.

The news prompted an outpouring of grief on social media, with mourners expressing shock that the couple had died together.

One commenter wrote: “So sad, how did they die same day?” Others responded that the deaths resulted from a car accident, while family members and friends shared emotional tributes, describing the loss as devastating.
