Hit-and-Run Horror in Gwanda : Motorist Flees After Fatal Crash

By A Correspondent – Police have launched an investigation into a fatal hit-and-run incident that claimed the life of a 43-year-old man in Gwanda last week.

According to the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP), the tragic accident occurred along Sudan Street on April 24, 2026, when an unidentified driver struck the man as he attempted to cross the road.

The victim suffered severe head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are appealing for information that may lead to the identification and arrest of the driver involved.
