Chivayo Rewards Advocate Lewis Uriri With US$250,000 Range Rover and US$50,000 Cash

Businessman Wicknell Chivayo has rewarded prominent Zimbabwean lawyer Advocate Lewis Uriri SC with a brand-new 2026 Range Rover Sport Autobiography reportedly valued at US$250,000.

Chivayo also announced that Uriri would receive US$50,000 in cash to cover fuel expenses, while the lawyer’s wife is set to receive a further US$50,000 handbag allowance.

Chivayo announced the gifts on X, where he praised Uriri for his years of legal representation, describing him as a “LAWYER PAR EXCELLENCE.”

He credited the senior counsel with defending him with courage, professionalism and determination, including pursuing appeals after setbacks.

Chivayo said Uriri’s commitment to his cases and his knowledge of the law had earned his appreciation.

“I cannot remember a single matter where you represented me that was ultimately lost — even where we suffered a setback, YOU FOUGHT ON, TOOK IT ON APPEAL AND WON,” Chivayo said in his message.

Chivayo instructed Uriri to meet a person identified as Victor on Wednesday to collect the vehicle.

He said the 2026 Range Rover Sport Autobiography had been fully paid for and was ready for collection.

In addition to the vehicle, Chivayo said Uriri would receive US$50,000 intended for fuel.

The businessman also extended the gesture to Uriri’s wife, who he described as a senior and competent lawyer.

Chivayo asked Uriri to bring his wife when collecting the vehicle, saying she would receive US$50,000 to spend on handbags.

The gifts, according to Chivayo, were intended as a gesture of appreciation for Uriri’s years of legal service and representation.

He encouraged the lawyer to continue serving his clients with distinction and contributing to the legal profession.
