Full List Of Legitimate Registered Employment Agencies Monitored By Zimbabwe’s Ministry Of Labour
Zimbabwe’s Ministry of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare has released the full list of legitimate employment agencies officially registered and monitored by the government, as job seekers continue to raise concerns over scams and unsafe recruitment practices.
The ministry published the list, urging Zimbabweans to verify recruiters before accepting job offers, whether locally or abroad. The announcement was made via the ministry’s official X account and was widely shared.
Introducing the list, the ministry said:
“Zimbabwe has legitimate Employment Agencies monitored by the Ministry of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare.
The list of all Registered Employment Agencies is below. Be safe. Verify the authenticity of your Employment Agency before you take that job.”
The post recorded thousands of views within hours, reflecting strong public interest.
Government Confirms Agencies Handle Local And Overseas Jobs
Questions quickly followed on whether the listed agencies also link workers to jobs outside Zimbabwe.
Responding publicly, the ministry said:
“Yes they do, and we verify the authenticity of the jobs before you go, as well as offer you pre-departure counselling at our Migrant Resource Centres.”
The ministry said the centres are located in Harare and Bulawayo, where prospective migrants can also receive information about embassies and consulates in destination countries.
After queries about the order of names, the ministry clarified:
“Not in any particular order.”
